Sunny Sundays

Popgun and I followed Nipeta and Mom on the road past the lakes again today and also found a new road to explore. 🎠🐎🏞🌿

Since it was starting to get dark by the time we got to the new road, we decided to turn back early, but it looked like it might be a wonderful place to train in the future. 🏇💨

Today’s total landed on 14,34 km but since we walked a good bit of the way and enjoyed all the autumn colors it took about 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Nipeta was so proud of herself today because she got to lead the way some of the parts. She needs to practice going first and Popgun needs to practice going last so it is a good deal for everyone.

The first lake we rode by is my favorite. It is so lovely with its waterlillies and all of the ducks who swim around in it. Sometimes there are even swans. 🌺

The paths to the lake are small dirt roads, which are nice because the ground is even free from mud. The bad thing about them is that we sometimes are passed by cars. Luckily, most people already seem to know not to drive by too fast. Probably because they know  people ride and bike here sometimes.

After a job well done we came back to the stable, did all the chores and then gave the horses their dinners. Popgun started by eating all of the apples mom had mixed in for them in their buckets. 💛🦄
