Baby teeth and more melanomas

Today was an unusual day. The veterinarian came out and checked all of the horses’ mouths and Mom was so nice to take care of it for us.
She said that that all their teeth looked good but that Shahina has small melanomas on the inside of her mouth which could potentially be a problem. So far, they don’t look like they have been a problem in any way but that they could potentially grow and get in the way of a ridingbit. They are thankfully not in the way of her eating.🌱

So the veterinarian suggested we perhaps should mostly ride bitless in the future, which is not a problem since we usually do anyway. Other than that the veterinarian said that Shahina‘s teeth look like they belong to a horse that is at least 5 year younger than she is.

Baby Arshaq apparently also has a loose baby tooth but that it he eventually will drop it.

The veterinarian also looked to see that Nipeta‘s movements were still alright after her operation last year, which they thankfully were!! Thank goodness!! 💛

A nice girl and her dad also came out to the stable today to see if she might be interested in helping me ride sometimes. I hope she is interested since it sure seemed that way.

Below is a little video of what Popgun does when we put in a fresh bale of peat. 🦄
